Synopsis of My Dragon, Not Hers: Mira's betrothed spent three years taming a wild dragon for their wedding—but he trained it to obey Lia, her family's adopted daughter. They took everything from her: her place in the clan, her inheritance, even her mother's dragon. When they demanded she kneel and wipe Lia's boots, Mira walked barefoot across burning coals instead. She broke the betrothal. Then a column of black war-dragons descended, and their lord claimed her—with a bloodwing dragon and three thousand acres of dragonland. He was the man who had waited eight years for her answer. On her wedding day, her old betrothed watched from the crowd as Mira married another man. And the dragon he had stolen finally threw Lia to the ground and flew home—to Mira.
